Dragon image in Chinese culture is a symbol of Emperor power and prosperity. In Chinese legends, dragons usually do not have wings but can still fly, and dwell in remote waters of the lake. Dragons bring rain to the fields, helping the trees sprout, flourish and bear fruit. In the years of Can Chi, the year of Dragon (the year of the Dragon) is said to be lucky and bring the most prosperity.
Dragons today are still an indispensable symbol in China, widely used in New Year festivals, decorating on boats, constructions, and appearing in many other places.
